As part of the mayor's official advisory board for a new scheme to make the city safer for cyclists, architectural expert and NLA chairman Peter Murray has been appointed patron for the borough of Kingston.

Following Carl Weisbrod's presentation he was then joined by panelists Charlie Leadbeater, Associate, Centre for London; Stewart Murray, Assistant Director - Planning, GLA; Wulf Daseking, former Director of City Planning for Freiburg ; and Cécile Brisac, Founder, Brisac Gonzalez Limited who discuss how the cities they represent are dealing with major global issues including huge population growth, social inequality and cohesion, foreign investment and the housing challenge.

On location with the People's Choice Winner - Rotherhithe Bridge

This proposal for a new Rotherhithe Bridge was crowned People's Choice winner of the NLA's New London Awards 2016, receiving over 50% of the votes. We met up with Nik Randall, reForm Architects and Gary Elliott, Elliott Wood Partnership at the proposed site for the bridge to hear more about the project and the positive impacts it might have on the area.
