Sydney and London: polycentric cities

According to the Sydney Plan, a “30-minute city” is one where, no matter where you live, you can easily access the places you need to visit on a daily basis.

A recent live link-up, hosted by Bates Smart in Sydney in collaboration with New London Architecture in London, gave some of Sydney’s key decision makers and influencers a chance to share their comments on the urban growth challenges that this city is facing.

As Sydney and London evolve as polycentric cities, how are we addressing liveability? Are we successfully creating 30-minute cities?
