PLANNING

© Agnese Sanvito

NLA’s Planning programme examines the rapidly changing shape of London, and explores how we can create a great city in a period of major growth.

Focusing on the development of the next London Plan under Mayor Sadiq Khan, a year-round programme brings together all stakeholders to inform policy-makers and debate and discuss the future shape of their city.

How is London planning for significant levels of predicted population growth? Where is development most needed in the capital? Where should new homes, schools, transport links and offices be built? How can the community get involved in helping shape plans in their area? And how should the regeneration of existing areas be best managed?
