NLA Member Event - Invitation only Go!

A strictly members-only briefing by a specialist UK Government Security Advisor on current security threats and how good design can safeguard our streets and public spaces.

What are the key technologies which architects, urban planners and landscape architects need to utilise to create safe and successful places? What are the latest advancements in hostile vehicle mitigation, and how can these be incorporated into public realm design, street furniture and planting? How can the public and private sectors better work together to ensure that all developments across the capital are of an appropriate security level? What role can pedestrianisation, traffic management and vehicle isolation play in protecting Londoners on our streets, roads and bridges?
