Estate Regeneration: what do we mean by quality?

Thursday 13 December 2018

08:30-10:00

NLA working group - by invitation only

Examining the estate regeneration sector, we ask how quality is evaluated by residents and how public and private sectors can work together to achieve successful outcomes.

Feeding into a major piece of NLA research, this working group will delve into some of the most pertinent questions around the future role of policy and design in creating successful schemes embedded in community. The results of the session will feed directly into the research, culminating in a publication, public exhibition and three-month programme of events in Spring 2019.

LONDON BOROUGHS

NLQ

London’s local authorities play a key role in the ongoing development of our neighbourhoods, and are under greater strain than ever before – contending with huge growth targets, greater demand and fewer resources. Working with the capital’s 33 local authorities, this programme gives a platform for understanding how the central, inner and outer regions of London are accommodating growth, and provides a forum for promoting the future plans of areas undergoing change.
