Last year, the Mayor set an ambitious target to increase journeys made by walking, cycling and public transport to 80% by 2041. This is a considerable jump from the current 64% and means an average of 3 million fewer car journeys in the capital each day.

So, how are we working towards this target? How are we creating a capital that is conducive to a healthy means of transport? How are boroughs, developers, architects and designers thinking in an integrated way about how we move around places?

This annual event brings together those working towards a healthier London for updates on recent strategies and projects, inviting discussion on what more can be done to make sure we reach the Mayor’s target and ultimately ensure London is still a desirable place to live and work in the face of massive growth.

We have a number of free places available for cycling or walking groups who would like to attend, please contact Lucie Murray on lucie@newlondonarchitecture.org to find out how to claim a free place!
