The first of the Mayor’s Growth Zones, the London Borough of Croydon is currently experiencing £350 million worth of investment across 39 key projects, from schools to transport to business support.

It was recently named the UK’s fastest growing economy with 1,875 digital, creative and technology companies calling it home. Brick by Brick, the borough’s private development company is set to deliver a new housing programme that will provide more than 1,000 new and affordable homes on over 50 sites across the borough by 2019.

The projected growth is massive and potential vast. But as the borough transforms, how will it retain its integrity and identity? Will Croydon finally become a destination? As the focus shifts from the CAZ to outer London, how is Croydon building a mixed-use walkable town centre that is truly liveable?

Timings:
13:00 Arrivals and networking lunch
14:00 Conference session
16:30 Afternoon tours
18:00 Networking drinks at Boxpark Croydon

This afternoon session will bring together local stakeholders, including council representatives, occupiers, developers and investors to look at how this investment is opening up new opportunities across the borough.

Lunch and presentations will take place at TMRW,  a leading co-working space and hub of tech startups, before afternoon study tours explore key projects taking shape across the borough. Tours will end at Boxpark Croydon for networking drinks.
