Join Borough Leaders Julian Bell and Steve Curran for a full update on developments taking place across Ealing and Hounslow, at NLA’s West London ‘on location’ this June.

With three Housing Zones, new Crossrail stations and the expansion of Heathrow, this area is set for change. Bringing together key stakeholders, we will explore the opportunities for growth across Acton, Brentford, Ealing, Southall, Feltham and Hounslow Town Centre, including Berkeley’s large-scale redevelopment at Southall Waterside and the emerging masterplan for the iconic Golden Mile.

A morning conference will be followed by a networking lunch, and afternoon tours of major development sites led by senior council representatives, with contributions from developers and master planners.

Southall - Tour A
Led by Carol Sam, Regeneration Manager, and Aimee Freebody, Project Officer, LB Ealing
Explore how this town centre is evolving prior to the arrival of Crossrail, with Housing Zone status, Catalyst’s regeneration of Havelock Estate, Southall Gateway, and Berkeley’s large-scale renewal of the old gasworks at Southall Waterside.

South Acton - Tour B
Led by David Colley, Regeneration Manager, LB Ealing
Lauded as an exemplar scheme for estate regeneration, visit Countryside’s South Acton Estate halfway through its comprehensive regeneration project, with schemes designed by HTA, Alison Brooks, Stitch, Maccreanor Lavington, PCKO Architects and Levitt Bernstein.

Brentford - Tour C
Led by Brendon Walsh, Executive Director Regeneration, Economic Development & Environment, LB Hounslow
Visit major schemes taking place in Brentford, including the Sky Campus, Brentford Community Stadium, Brentford High Street and Brentford East, underpinned by an emerging masterplan for the iconic Golden Mile.

You will be asked to make a tour selection when booking your ticket. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all delegates on their first choice tour but will do our utmost to ensure we can fit everyone on to their preferred tour.
