NLA’s annual ‘On Location’ event will examine the future for development and infrastructure in the City of London. What does the City of London Corporation need to do to make sure that the City remains as the world’s top financial and business centre?

What impact is Brexit having on the City’s occupiers both large and small, and what does this mean for the environment of the City and what it needs to provide to those in the Square Mile? Can the City be doing more to keep the cranes moving and to build optimism and investor confidence following Brexit? What is the right sort of environment to do this in for the future?

Discussion topics include:
- Diversifying the City’s business base
- Placemaking in the City - leisure, public realm, culture and heritage
- Capacity and connectivity
- Building design
