inmidtown is the Business Improvement District (BID) for the middle of London’s Midtown: Bloomsbury, Holborn and St. Giles, the area that sits between the West End and the City of London.
The second-largest BID in the UK, inmidtown leverages the district’s identity as a major business, commercial and employment hub, soon to be bookended by the two most significant stations on the Crossrail network.
inmidtown is improving the area’s public realm – creating a lasting legacy through leading the upgrade of Holborn station, and initiating sustainable transport options to reduce congestion and aid air quality.
Other projects include: making the BID Levy cost-neutral; ensuring return on investment and value for money; calculating and reducing carbon emissions; sustainable and innovative solutions for business needs; and impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives.
inmidtown also delivers day-to-day area information to visitors, an annual programme of local walks and events to drive footfall and dwell time, and profile-building activities through marketing, media coverage and publicity.
inmidtown represents the interests of over 500 businesses, working with, and adding value to, the efforts of Camden Council, the Mayor’s Office and agencies, Transport for London, and the Metropolitan Police.
