Quick thinking – Speed Mentoring for the next generation

Last night 28 industry experts and many more young professionals gathered at Gardiner & Theobald and NLA for an evening of Speed Mentoring, to share and gain insight and advice on working across different sectors of the industry.

The evening kicked off with drinks and networking at the offices of NextGen Programme Champions Gardiner & Theobald - who promote career progression, the NextGen ethos underlining their core values.

Mentors were then matched with mentees for two rounds of speed mentoring - giving mentees the unique opportunity to discuss a particular challenge or seek career advice from their seniors across the industry. There was then time for further networking at NLA once the two rounds were over.

NextGen is an NLA initiative to support and promote emerging talent from across the built environment, providing opportunities for professional networking and the lively exchange of ideas, with the ambition of championing the professional development of the built environment’s future leaders. The programme is championed by Gardiner & Theobald and supported by Buro Four.
