Mayor launches new Crossrail station designs at NLA

Final designs for eight of the central Crossrail stations were unveiled by Mayor of London Boris Johnson and Rail Minister Theresa Villiers at the opening of a new public exhibition at NLA this morning.

Creaming off cash? Architects respond to the axing of BSF

Earlier this month, the government controversially decided to axe the £55 billion Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, asserting that the programme was inflexible and complex, and that it is 'more important to invest in high-quality teaching, and high-quality teachers, than it is to invest in architect-designed landmark buildings'.
