London 2012: raising the bar for London’s future development
In a full-day event at NLA, key players from the ODA, LOCOG and the newly formed Olympic Park Legacy Company spoke together for the first time about the current progress of the Olympic Park and development opportunities it will bring to this area of London.

Waterfront London: City East
East London’s waterways were the focus of a half-day conference this morning, with speakers including Ros Dunn, Chief Executive of the Thames Gateway London Partnership; Mark Bensted, Regeneration Director at British Waterways; John Letherland, Partner at Farrells; and Stephen Oakes, Director of Development at the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation.

The greatest election in a generation?
Next year could see the second change in government for 31 years, and if the general election falls on the 6th May 2010, as is the current bet, it will be the first time that local and national elections have fallen on the same day.

NLA Nights: The Boroughs 'Our Patch'
Following on from the success of our 'Two Minute Talk' event in August in which architects and practitioners were asked to speak on the topic of 'What Should London be Made of?', October's NLA Nights event invited the London boroughs to speak for an extended three minutes each on what makes them unique, to an audience of NLA supporters and their guests.
